We've got a new beach portrait spot that we really love on Longboat Key. It has great shady areas with trees and green backgrounds, a cool wooden walkway to the beach, and wonderful sea oats for traditional beach portraits. We met the Taylor/D'Amico family there last night for some family portraits and had a great time! The weather cooperated right until the end, when we found ourselves totally surrounded by storm clouds, thunder, and lightning! Wow! But, we managed to squeeze in lots of great photos before we had to make a run for it!
