Catching Up - October through December 2021

So clearly I am WAY behind on our blog. I have been quite a slacker with our social media presence since the start of the pandemic... I am going to try to catch up a bit at a time! 

We REALLY appreciate our customers, especially those who continued to show up and trust us with their memories and their safety during 2020, 2021, and beyond! 2020 was a slow time for our business (as was 2021) but we definitely feel like we are back now! We especially value and love our repeat customers who really help carry us through tough times like we experienced in 2020! Thank you!!

I will be sharing photos from some (most? all?) of our photo sessions in 2020 and 2021 in a series of posts, along with some personal photos and such to explain my lack of posts, perhaps? LOL.

Finally towards the end of 2021 we were able to take our nephews to Disney World for Halloween (tradition) and we were able to take a Disney Cruise over Christmas with Jason's family (another tradition). We also hosted our first Thanksgiving in our new home (we host every year, just the new house part was different!).

The holidays are a busy time for us personally and for the business, so... you guessed it, no blog posts! I had now gone about 18 months without a post... (Other than a brief one about holiday cards in November 2020) It was getting harder and harder to get it going again. And as you can see now, I went another six months til now... 

This is probably my last "catch up" post - I will hopefully now go back to blogging each session starting with January 2022! Thanks for reading!

Catching Up - July through September 2021

In August, 12 days after the start of school, I got COVID. After making it all the way through 2020 and most of 2021... this was SUPER frustrating. Jason never got it (and still hasn't as of this posting).

Luckily it coincided with a slow time for our business and we didn't have to miss any photo sessions. I went back to work after Labor Day and that missed time caused a lot of "catching up" I needed to do at school, home, in the yard, etc. 

So yep, blog posts took a back seat AGAIN...

After moving into our new house, we spent the rest of the spring/summer working around the yard. I found out I was actually really good at landscaping and gardening! Who knew? Allllllll of my free time was being funneled into working around our new yard, or just hanging out outside, watching the birds. So again, no blog posts...
