When we aren't busy with beach portraits and weddings, we enjoy visiting local parks and photographing wildlife - including deer, hogs, and the many beautiful birds that live in this area.
Badger's favorite wildlife is right in our own backyard! We recently re-hung our bird feeders after a brief hiatus and the birds have started to return. We often see blue jays, cardinals, and woodpeckers on our feeders. Badger's favorites are not birds at all, but the many clever squirrels that visit our backyard and seem to be able to thwart even the best of the squirrel-proof feeders. We gave up on squirrel proofing this time around and we've been having fun watching the squirrels enjoy the majority of the bird seed. Badger spends hours staring up into the treetops, trying to catch a glimpse. Of course, they are always one step ahead of him!
Here are a few recent photos of our backyard visitors. We think they are awfully cute, but don't tell Badger!
